This post sent me on trip back through past photos

We left Bangkok for good last week. We lived there for about two years, but that includes a lot of time spent in Italy and the US over the summer.

We move around a lot due to my husband’s job - usually every 2-4 years.

Every time we’ve had to say goodbye, it has felt devastating.

When we left London I was ready to leave (I’d been living in the UK 13 or so years), but it was still so hard. Lon

don is where I got my first real job, where I met my husband, where I started therapy and began to piece myself back together, where my children were born, where I found myself in mothering.

I missed it for years.
