It’s funny when people talk about how lucky children are, how they aren’t saddled by responsibilities yet and they are relatively free.

It’s funny because it seems most of us have forgotten what it feels like to be a child. To be a young person who is, by many measures of freedom, not actually free, AND also subject to adult expectations.
